“While working in this industry, I witnessed firsthand the struggles that countless talented artists, particularly artists of color, face in gaining visibility,” Leen explains. “This painful reality ignited my passion for advocating for inclusion and equality. It also motivated me to create Kaneza, a platform dedicated to empowering artists of color and amplifying underrepresented narratives rooted in community, culture, and collaboration.”
